The
Clayman's Funhouse in association with The Greater Victoria Film
Commission
presents-

On
April 3rd, 2003, The Clayman teamed up with the
Greater Victoria Film Commission
to host 'Clay Day', an animation awareness workshop with the students
of Monterey Elementary School in Oak Bay.
The
children had loads of fun as they all were given a block of clay
and left to their own imaginations. We also watched 'The making
Chicken Run' to illustrate the stop motion animation process,
as well as 'The making of Shrek' to illustrate the CG animation
process. This was followed by a question and answer period.
The work they
produced was fabulous but unfortunately no one thought to bring
a camera. Instead we thought to post some of the imaginative thank
you cards the children created.
